Welcome to Biff & Baba! I am very excited to be publishing my first post on my Personal Lifestyle & Mummy Blog! As my first post, I just wanted to expand in a little more detail on the About Me section, and give you all some more information as to who I am and what content you will be seeing on this page...

Who Am I?
My name is Bethany and I'm living in Oxfordshire in the UK with my boyfriend Josh and we currently have a little princess cooking away in my tummy!

My background is dance (primarily ballet), and I started dancing when I was 2 and a half years old. When I was 10 years old I decided that I wanted to take it seriously and dance professionally, so started Saturday classes in London at the Royal Ballet School as an associate. When I was 16 I moved to London to attend a full-time vocational dance school; Central School of Ballet, where I not only trained 6 days a week, I also achieved a First Class BA Hons degree in Professional Dance and Performance. After graduating, I was blessed with the opportunity to dance with Matthew Bourne's New Adventures Company, and toured the UK performing in his stage version of Tim Burton's classic 'Edward Scissorhands'.

It was after this, I decided I needed a change from dance. Although it will always be a big part of me and I learnt so much from it, I needed a change. I had always taken a big interest in the Health & Fitness industry, being a big "foodie" and loved the buzz you got from a good workout! I decided I wanted to become a Personal Trainer, to help motivate, educate and build peoples confidence and self-love. I have now been a fully qualified PT for nearly 2 years!

Life is about to change again as I am soon to become a mummy! Which I am completely over the moon about and is something I've always known I was meant to be! Starting a family was always something Josh and I wanted to do and talked about since we first got together. We are due mid-June and are counting down the weeks!

Whats to come?
The main reason why I wanted to start a blog is because I wanted a space where I could completely express my thoughts, feelings and document my life, especially at this most precious time becoming a mummy! I've always been a creative person and I've always liked the idea of having a blog, but it was actually Josh who encouraged me to do so.  I am by no means a writer, and I am in actual fact very dyslexic! So please do excuse me if my grammar isn't 100% on top form, the language will be very chatty and it's more about the content of what I am writing about. I'm now at that stage in my life where I feel I have the confidence to put myself out there and not worry what people may think or say. This is about me, for me and anyone who fancies having a read! I'm planning on doing two blog posts a week.

So the main section of this blog will be my Lifestyle. This will include my day-to-day comings and goings, whether that be trips as a family, anything I bought recently or checking out a new coffee spot! I will also write about my current outfits I like; as anyone who knows me will tell you, I have always been a shopaholic and love my designers and fashion - but by no means am I a fashion blogger! I think this will be interesting to see how my style changes or develops, with the new factor of "is it mummy practical?"...

Baby section will probably end up being my favourite category to write in! It will be everything pregnancy, mummy and baby related. This is something completely new to me, so will be like my diary as I am discovering and overcoming the challenges of being a first time parent! From pregnancy, labour, breastfeeding, to sleeping, baby clothes and products, teething etc. as I go through and experience day by day of my baby growing! No judging please every mummy, baby and journey is different!!

The final section will be Health & Fitness, which as I mentioned before is my current profession. This will include a few workout tips, healthy recipes, my favourite workout clothes and more! I am Gluten Intolerant, so all my food posts will be gluten free, and I am always looking for new places that have a great variety of gluten free options available on their menu! The fitness side of this section will probably pick up more once I have given birth! And will document me getting my body back to my normal, strong self!

Finally..
As I said before, this is a Personal Lifestyle & Mummy Blog, about me and my life, all the views expressed on here are my own and I do not expect everyone to agree with me! More than happy to answer comments and am open to blog post suggestions! Also feel free to follow my other social media accounts found on the Social page!

Thanks for reading! x
